As you may or may not know, e.l.f stopped stocking their products in the UK some time ago and their website had a big sell off and closed down. But, it didn’t last long and I found out that you could order again via their website. I didn’t go crazy because there wasn’t really anything new and I don’t really have the excitement about the brand anymore. I bought a couple of necessities and a new product for me to finally try.
I decided to get a Large Makeup Holder, so I could decorate it and use it to store my make-up brushes. I am thinking of spray painting it brown. I also got a back-up Blending Eye Brush. This is my favourite e.l.f brush and is perfect for applying colour to your crease. I got two more pairs of Slant Tweezers and lastly I decided I wanted to try the 3-in-1 Mascara because I have heard good things about it and before e.l.f stopped stocking in the UK, I would go to buy it but it was always sold out and then they didn’t stock it anymore for some unknown reason!
I’m glad I will finally get the chance to try the mascara and I am excited to DIY my make-up holder. I also have a little warning about purchasing from the e.l.f UK website. They are selling to the UK, but are actually shipping from the USA. I didn’t realise until after I made my order. The shipping cost is surprisingly still £2.95 or free if you spend more than £25.00 and you shouldn’t get charged custom fees (I didn’t anyway). The only downside is that it will take a little longer for your order to arrive, but I can live with that seeing as though the shipping fees are cheap, also considering it is flying from the USA.
Any suggestions for other products to try?
