Back with Avengence after a weekend away from blog.. with The Avengers or rather the 1990's attempted revamp.. Uma was pretty good as Emma I thought although Diana Rigg is a very hard act to follow..Not sure abouth Ralph Fiennes who reminded me more of Bulldog Drummond than John Steed . (there was talk before this was released of Mel Gibson taking on the role of Steed .. that would of been unusual lol lets just say Macnee is Steed !There is a certain magic about the original show which cannot be recaptured.. Perhaps it was the format of a feature film that they tried to do everything but somehow managed to get it completly wrong in places(there's a romance between Steed and Emma .. in the tv show there is no romance or rather not onscreen but extremely clever flirtatious banter) they should of left it at that .Anyway more caps from movie over the week(has to be a two parter as there are so many stills)
